A Woof Deal: Man Steals Woman’s TV and Dog After First Date

We've all got one or ten two dating disasters that occasionally come back to haunt us but nothing quite takes the doggie biscuit like this next first date fiasco. Last Thursday, a New Jersey woman decided she would take the plunge and meet up with a gent she had been interacting with online. After the date concluded the woman invited the man back to her apartment. Leaving him unattended for a few moments she returned to find that her $3,000 flat-screen television had been swiped and so too had her Yorkshire terrier, Violet. This lady has a bone to pick with Joel. The mystery man was known only to his date as Joel and she reported him immediately to authorities. Dover Police didn't have much detective work to do. At 3 a.m. on Saturday morning they received a call to say both the lady's TV and beloved pooch were returned to her yard. Moral of the story is always keep both dog and man on a tight leash.
