Abracadabra! Magician Has a Magical Way of Proposing to His Girlfriend

We’re all for unique wedding proposals and we have to say that this one tugged on our heartstrings. It’s sweet, it’s well thought out and, well, it has a dash of magic thrown into it as well.

Sean Emory, a magician from Nashville in Tennessee, decided to propose to his girlfriend by using a magic trick and, even better, she didn’t realise she was actually filming her own proposal.

Sean told Andrea, his partner of five years, that he needed her to film him performing a new trick that involved him turning a leaf and some dirt into something important.

“We’re here on a covert operation. She’s the girl of my dreams and we’ve been together for about five years,” says Sean at the start of the video.

“She thinks we’re filming a magic video but in reality she’s going to be filming me proposing to her without realizing,” he added.

When Andrea arrives and starts filming, Sean starts telling the camera all about the ancient art of alchemy.

“See, what alchemists used to do, they would take natural elements and they’d combine them, you know, trying to find the elixir of life, which means you’ll live forever,” Sean tells the camera.

“Then they’d take these metals and turn them into something really special,” he adds.

Sean then crouches down and opens his hand to reveal an engagement ring. Unsurprisingly Andrea says yes immediately.

We don’t know about you, but we think this is a super cute way to pop the question. D’aww!
