There were plenty of names we were expecting to hear at today’s announcement of the nominations for the Academy Awards… Micheal Keaton and Patricia Arquette, for example.
However, when Academy Presenter Cheryl Boone Isaacs took to the stage to reveal the nominees for Cinematography, she named one star that we’re not quite so familiar with… Dick Poop.
Yep, Dick Poop.
Isaacs, of course, meant Dick Pope, who was nominated for his work on Mr Turner and quickly corrected herself but it was too late, as by that stage the entire Internet was laughing like a particularly immature teenage boy.
