According To Actual Science: How To Flirt Effectively – The Secret Trick That Works

If the scientists it works, it must be true.

If you’re awkward when it comes to flirting, welcome to the club but research has found that it’s more effective than even just looking good.

Signaling availability and interest trumps attractiveness. That kind of changes everything.

A psychologist at Webster University said that it’s not the most physically appealing people who get approached, but the ones who signal their availability and confidence through basic flirting techniques like eye contact and smiles. Just signaling your interest in someone gets you halfway there, whether you’re a man or a woman.

Also, not only are those non-verbal signs effective but eye-contact could actually make you more attractive.

Other research even indicated that women are more successful in their flirting when they’re direct.

So it’s definitely good news for us. Good to know that maintaining eye contact, smiling and touching the guy’s arm can help us with our disability to look like Kate Upton or whoever else the guys want.
