Pamela Nomvete has revealed on Twitter that she is finished with Coronation Street.
The actress, who plays Mandy Kamara on the popular soap, made the announcement after a fan congratulated her on being with the show a year.

The actress revealed yesterday that she is finished at Corrie.
She replied: “Which for me marks the end of my contract with Coronation Street. It has been a fun year, thank you.”
According to reports Pamela’s final scenes will be aired next month and involve a storyline about Mandy’s relationship with Lloyd Mullaney (played by Craig Charles).
With her onscreen family who are remaining in the soap.
A spokesperson also told Digital Spy that the door will be left open:“Pamela’s departure from the show is storyline-led and there’s nothing to say that Mandy won’t return to the Street in the future with familial ties remaining in Weatherfield.”
Pamela’s is the latest exit from the cobbles. Other familiar faces that are leaving include Sol Heras (Ryan Connor) and Sue Johnston (Gloria Price).
