Affleck Keeps It In The Family, And Friends, For His Latest Flick

Ben’s keeping it within the family, and a friend, as he sets to produce his new film.

Affleck and buddy Matt Damon are to re-unite behind the scenes and work together on a new drama, Race To The South Pole.

The Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting stars will produce the film together, with Ben’s brother Casey also attached to star, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie will follow the true story of two explorers, Englishman Robert Falcon Scott and Norwegian Roald Amundsen, in the early 1900s as they aimed to be the first to reach the South Pole.

It promises to be full of drama, tension and suspense, quite like every other movie Affleck has any connection with.

Ben’s brother ParaNorman actor Casey is set to play Scott.

Ben is currently gearing up for the release of the thriller Argo, which he stars in, directed and produced. What a man!

Himself and his best friend Damon picked up an Academy Award for their 1997 Good Will Hunting screenplay success.
