And it looks like Christmas is going to be getting a lot better this year, as Aldi have confirmed the return of their wine advent calendar.
Yes, you read the correctly.
Each of the 24 doors will open to reveal a mini bottle of wine - there are twelve bottles of white, six red, rosé or sparkling wine.
It includes 16 x 18.7cl and 8 x 20cl Bottles, with the advent calendar - which costs €69.99 - being available for over 18s only.
“It's fun, a bit indulgent and best of all, might expand our wine horizons," Aldi’s Wine Expert Tom Doorley said.
And the retailer have plenty of other advent calendars on the way; in fact, there's one for every family member this festive season.
The advent calendars will go on sale in 139 stores across the country as of Sunday, November 3 while stocks last.
