We are on serious countdown here at Her Towers to see if Ireland’s Stephanie Roche bags the FIFA Puskás Goal of The Year Award early next year.
In the meantime though, we’ve been rooting back through the archives and though there are many to pick from, this stunning goal has become a new favourite of ours.
Credit here must go to Megan Campbell who really needs to stand up and take a bow for setting up this goal with one of the most accurate and superb side line throws we’ve seen in a long time. Stephanie Roche was on hand to finish to the net for the Republic of Ireland in their game against Germany.
Megan wasn't finished there though. Ireland's second goal of the game also came off the back of one of her superb throws.
Voting is still open for Stephanie, click here to find out how.
