"Anybody can be Batman. Anybody. Anybody can be as strong as Batman."
This is 8-year-old Zach Guillot. He suffers from leukaemia. The other day he just happened to get a phone call from his favourite actor ever, his hero… Christian Bale.
The two could have been friends for years as they kicked back and chatted about Batman for nearly ten minutes.
“The best part about the movie is anyone can be Batman, anyone can be as strong as him and help people and put good out into the world,” Christian Bale tells Zach.
It doesn’t take much to become a kid’s hero-a ten minute phone call and it looks like Zach is made up.
The best bit? It could be that if Zach’s parents hadn’t uploaded this clip to YouTube, people would never have known Bale rang him. Heroes don’t need to call the media everytime they do something good…
