Dr Debby Herbenick has introduced us to the concept of the sleep orgasm, which basically means you wake up having a sexual climax.

It might sound like a strange phenomenon but it’s becoming more and more popular.

Speaking to Broadly, this expert says that there are certain things you can do to increase your chances of having a sleep orgasm.

Lying on your stomach is one and in addition, the chances of experiencing this type orgasm are higher when you’re very tired or when you haven’t climaxed in a while.

However, if it’s not something you’ve ever heard of or experienced, don’t fret because the sleep orgasm is more common in women over 40.

Dr Herbenick says that sexual orgasms become more frequent as you grow older because you feel more at ease and the same goes for sleep orgams.

“Orgasm generally gets easier with age and experience, and when women have sex with regular partners who they feel care about them,”

“Thus we see higher rates of orgasm among those in their mid to late 20s, 30s, and 40s”.
