Friends and family of Dayna Kearney have launched an appeal for Ed Sheeran to visit her in hospital.
On Tuesday night, a tragic car crash near Athy, Co.Kildare claimed the lives of Dayna’s friends: Ashling Middleton, Chermaine Carroll, Gemma Nolan and Niamh Doyle.
The driver of the car, 20-year-old Dayna, was taken to Naas General Hospital where she is currently recovering.
A Facebook page has been set up entitled “Ed Sheeran, Please Visit Dayna” and those close to Dayna are hoping the award-winning singer will see their posts.
Dayna’s car collided with a VW Transporter van in which two men of Polish nationality were travelling.
They managed to escape the van before it burst into flames.
Dayna’s loved ones hope that Ed visits her when he is in Ireland for an intimate VHI Storytellers gig later this month.
