Here are our TV picks for today: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty – TG4 (4.05pm) A 1947 movie loosely based on a short story of the same name. A shy proofreader (Danny Kaye) lives in a world of daydreams - until reality begins to bite! Megamind  - RTÉ One (6.35pm) Will Ferrell stars as an evil genius in an animated comedy about his life without an arch nemesis. Co-starring Tina Fey and Brad Pitt. Splash! – UTV (7.20pm) New series.  A new line-up of stars take the plunder to battle it out under the watchful eye and guidance of London 2012 bronze medallist Tom Daley. Forrest Gump – More 4 (10.00pm) Robert Zemeckis's Oscar-winning comedy drama, starring Tom Hanks as simple man who tells the story of his incredible adventure through a series of bizarre and wonderful events. Lethal Weapon 2 – ITV4 (10.00pm) Action-thriller starring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. The pair reprise their roles as officers, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, who need to protect an irritating federal witness.
