Irish author Cecelia Ahern has revealed that pregnancy has helped her become a better writer and changed the minds of her harshest critics.
The writer, who penned her first novel P.S. I Love You in 2002, wrote her latest story while pregnant with her second child, Sonny.
“I was writing when I was pregnant with Sonny and I’ve never been under so much pressure.
“The book was due in June and the baby was due in July. It’s got the best reviews so being a stressed out, manic pregnant woman actually helps me when I’m writing – so I might go for that again,” she said.
The writer also has a two-year-old daughter, Robin with her husband David Keoghan.

Cecelia's latest novel is in stores now
Cecelia’s latest novel One Hundred Names has been received well by critics but she revealed that she’s never really cared about them.
“They never did but when I get a good one I go ‘woohoo’.”
Cecilia’s latest novel tells the story of a journalist who lands herself in hot water when a story goes wrong.
