I’ve known a few mums who got pregnant even though they were using contraception. Sometimes life just finds a way.
One mum though got quite a big surprise when her baby was born with something quite unusual adorning its head.
Yes, that’s right this little bundle of joy popped out wearing its mother’s IUD birth control in its hair.
The photograph was uploaded by Cadesia Foster along with the caption;
“Look at this . Damn IUD sitting on this baby head like a Bobby pin. Use birth control they said.”
I’m not sure if I would pass out or laugh if I saw that in my new baby’s hair.
Since posting the photograph yesterday it has gone viral and has been shared over 27,000 times!
Thousands of comments were left on the shocking photo including this name suggestion;
“Should have called her Nicoil.”
Other mums wrote about having similar experiences;
“My coil was in my placenta found out I was pregnant at ten weeks and five days.”
I’ve never had the coil and I don’t think I’ll be getting one after reading that statement.
On a funnier note that’s going to make one brilliant photo for that child’s 21st birthday.
