There is massive hype surrounding this year’s Band Aid single as a number of big names have signed up to perform the charity single and now it has been revealed that the song will debut on this weekend’s X Factor results show on Sunday (November 16th).
This year’s single marks the 30th anniversary of the first Band Aid recording which was released back in 1984. The song will be a rehash of Do They Know It’s Christmas? and the video will also have its first play on the TV talent show.
Big names including One Direction, Coldplay, Bastille, Elbow, Olly Murs, Bono, Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding (to name but a few) will all feature on the charity single that aims to raise money for the Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa.
The song will be recorded on Saturday before being released for download on Monday, November 17th. You can also donate online.
