New Year, New You... Same old weather.
It seems the stormy conditions we endured over the Christmas break won't be letting up anytime soon.
Met Éireann has issued two weather warnings today, with strong winds and heavy rainfall set to return.
An Orange warning is in place for Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick with winds of up to 90 km/hr and gusts of up 130 km/hr expected. Heavy rain, high tides and high seas are also forecasted also, with warnings of local flooding especially in coastal areas.
Meanwhile a Yellow status is in place for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Tipperary and Waterford.
The worst of the weather is expected to pass by 2pm tomorrow, Friday.
