Jacqueline Wilson holds a special place in our hearts.
The 70-year-old British author has written 100+ children’s books and some characters of her stories were made into huge TV shows such as Tracy Beaker.
As part of the International Literature Festival, Dame Wilson was in Dublin to greet fans yesterday evening in the RDS.
She was at the festival to talk about her new book Rent-a-Bridesmaid which is her 104th release.

Before she made an appearance at the RDS, she was on The Ryan Tubridy show yesterday morning where she gave a delightful interview, giving tips on writing and divulging how her career started.
