Where's the best city you've ever had a night out in?
Berlin? Budapest? Roscommon?
If so, you might as well forget about them because the best city in the entire world for a night out has been voted on and it's not any of the above.
(We know - we were surprised it wasn't Berlin either.)
It is though, as it turns out, another German city that we hadn't actually thought of - Hamburg.
According to a new survey conducted by
HostelWorld, the second largest German city is where people have the best time when they're out on the tear.
Coming in second is Copenhagen and third is Berlin.
Dublin ranked a respectable fourth too, so fair play to us.

HostelWorld collected their data from over 4,000 people in 40 countries, so we can probably go ahead and assume it's fairly accurate.
We were (a bit) surprised though that the likes of London or Glasgow didn't make top 10 list at all.
Apparently, things like affordability were included in the rankings too which may have meant a bit of a hit for those cities.
Still, that didn't affect Dublin though and you'd absolutely end up being bled dry if you went on a night out in Temple Bar.
So, flights to Hamburg anyone?
