This is probably the nicest case of paying it forward you’ll see this year…
When one Facebook user owned up to a little accident, she probably wasn’t expecting this. The woman’s three-year-old opened a car door onto their neighbour’s vehicle, damaging the car.
Rather than keeping quiet and praying it would go away, the parent did the responsible and honest thing, informing her neighbours of the accident and offering to pay for the damage that occurred.
As The Metro reports, the woman followed up on the cost of repairs, saying:
“My silly three year old accidentally hit a neighbour’s car last week when opening his door. We admitted it at the time and told the owner we’d pay for the repair (cheaper than going through insurance).
“Chased him up today and got this invoice…”
“These things happen”?!
Quite possibly the best neighbours ever.
