Bizarre X-Ray: Man Survives Metal Stool Leg Through His Head After Bar Brawl

Last week we had the bizarre X-ray that showed a 70-year-old man with a fork lodged in his penis. Yes in his penis. However this X-ray of a Serbian man with the metal leg of a stool that impaled his skull, leaves us a little queasier. Miraculously the man has survived.

Russian news site Komsomolskaya Pravda reported that the patient arrived to his local hospital where staff saw the stool leg, “literally sticking out of the man’s head.” 

The X-ray shows how the leg pierced through the man’s skull travelling several inches deep into his brain.

Neurosurgeons, who removed the foreign object at Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital, have said that the operation was without complications.

The man spent two weeks in intensive care and is now is a serious but stable condition, showing no loss of motor functions.
