Blind people describe their loved ones to a sculptor to make incredible art

Megan Roantree

This is lovely.

The Cut is a website known for making viral videos such as truth or drink and Grandmas smoke weed for the first time but their latest video is tugging on the heartstrings.

In a heartwarming video, several blind people describe their nearest and dearest to an artist who makes sculptures of them.

The men and women described their spouses, children and friends and discuss face shape, distinctive features and hair style to the sculptor who hasn’t seen them person they’re creating a sculpture of.

At one point, participant Jeff, describes his wife, Libby, “I hope that my inaccuracies are on the better side than the lesser side,”

“Cause when she looks at it, I don’t want her to go ‘is that how you see me?’ ” He tells the artist.

The family and friends then get to see the finished product and compare it to themselves.

It’s very sweet.
