The body part you’re supposed to spray perfume on for it to last longer is so weird

Seriously?

These days, most bottles of perfume will cost you an arm and a leg.

A while back, we came across this expert opinion that said you should store your foundation in the fridge and apparently, the same storage method is recommended for perfume.

MAD, I know.

As well as foundation, the fridge is the best place to keep your perfume – but if you don’t want your milk, cheese and ham smelling like your favourite perfume, read on.

To get the most bang for your buck regarding your perfume, rather than storing in certain places you can spray it on your body sparingly – but in the right places.

Most of us will spray a perfume on our wrists and necks as they’re known as our pulse points… However we’ve been missing the REAL place to spritz and spray.

According to The Huffington Post, the belly button is the best place to spray perfume as it’s tiny capacity stores the scent the best. The smell will also intensify because of your body heat, making the scent carry longer.

Other places that are good to spray are behind your knees, inside your elbows and through your hair, but to completely get the best out of a perfume, try refraining from rubbing the spray in.

Letting the perfume dry by itself on the skin means that the smell drys naturally instead of the scents being broken down and worn off when you rub.
