Could we BE any more excited?!
The Friends reunion we have all been waiting for for the last TWELVE YEARS is happening.
And while it’s not a movie or bumper episode, it has been confirmed that for the first time since the last episode aired in 2004, all six members will reunite.
The reunion will air as part of a two-hour NBC special to celebrate the work of legendary comedy director James Burrows, who is also responsible for shows like Taxi, The Bob Newhart Show and Cheers.
While the special will revolve around Burrows and the fact that he recently shot his 1,000th TV episode, the Friends reunion will clearly be the highlight.
NBC chief Robert Greenblatt confirmed to reporters that all six members – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer – are on board.
He added: “I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time, I’m not sure we can logistically can pull it off.”
Make it work, for the love of God, MAKE IT WORK.
