Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind – TG4 (9:30pm).

A heart-breaking romantic drama that will have you weeping into your bowl of popcorn. Jim Carrey plays a man who is struggling to get over a break-up. Imagine how hurt he feels when he finds out that his ex (Kate Winslet) actually went and had all recollection of their relationship erased from her mind? In an attempt to get even, he signs up to have the same treatment but how does he cope when all the memories of their time together come flooding back? Worth a watch.

The Secret Millionaire Revisited – RTE1 (9:35pm)

Three millionaires who took part in the series revisit the areas they helped to see what kind of an impact the money they donated has had. It’s the last episode in the current series.

Battle of the Bridesmaids – 3e (10pm)

Two bridesmaids battle it out against the maid of honour to see who can throw the best hen party for the bride. Expect laughs, back-stabbing and some bitchiness.

The Ugly Truth – Film4 (9pm)

If Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a little bit too ‘heavy’ for you this evening, why not sit down and have some laughs with this romantic comedy? A TV producer is appalled when a chauvinistic male presenter is hired for her morning show. Starring Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl.

Nigellissima – BBC2 (8:30pm)

Need some cooking inspiration? Tune in and watch Nigella Lawson cook some delish pork loin stuffed with oregano and Parma ham served with mock mash and vignarola. Nigella also offers some cooking tips and tricks. Perfect if you’re a foodie.
