A boy in a dysfunctional family finds comfort in a fantasy world but it leads to a murder in this black comedy.

 

The Village – BBC One (9.00pm)

This week the villagers are taking part in the annual wheelbarrow race and baby Mary falls ill. With John Simm.

 

Surrogates – RTÉ Two (9.30pm)

Bruce Willis is the lead in this crime thriller about a killer who is targeting people and their doubles in a futuristic world.
