Erica Skuta and Lewis Blake married on November 29th and after their wedding reception, they went to see a hockey game.
Footage of the couple hanging out at the Minnesota Wild versus Dallas Stars game, dressed in their wedding gear, has since gone viral.
Erica was very careful to keep her dress clean while eating a burger and doting husband Lewis wiped her face.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Erica explained how she and Lewis live in New Zealand but she still keeps a keen eye on her hometown hockey team, Minnesota Wild.
They decided to hold their wedding in Minnesota in the hope that they might be able to catch a game after.
She said: “When we got engaged, we both joked how neat it would be to do something a little different and have an after-reception party at a Wild game.
“When the schedule was released at the start of the season and the game fell on the same day as the wedding, we had to go for it.”
“We’re just two people who enjoy hockey and burgers”.
