”Comes with a certificate of authenticity (unlike the wedding vows).”

An Australian bride has handled a failed marriage perfectly by adopting a brilliant sense of humour.

When Lauryn Lawrence’s husband turned out to be a ‘compulsive liar’ she decided not to mope and to get proactive instead.

The bride decided to sell her dress on a buy and sell page on Facebook but it was her wit and hilarious description that got her so much attention.

”Please help remove this beautiful Maggie Sottero dress from my life. It looks stunning on, enough to distract you from the fact you are entering into a marriage with a compulsive liar,” Lauryn said.

”The dress is in excellent condition, unlike my marriage,” she added.

”Comes with a certificate of authenticity (unlike the wedding vows). Bad luck has been removed through expensive dry cleaning. I know this for sure, because when I got it dry cleaned post-separation I became happier, more confident and discovered what it feels like to be genuinely loved and treated well in a relationship.

ORIGINALLY $3100 NEW. Asking $350 as this will cover the cost of some smoking hot lingerie from Honey Birdette,” she continues.

She adds that even if you’re not planning on getting married it’s still perfect for some hilarious occasions.

”Wear it and run after random men in the street yelling “I LOVE YOU! COME BACK!” She recommends.

The post has received thousands of comments and likes which inspired Lauryn to also start a crowdfunding campaign to help pay for her divorce.

”After a recent advertisement I made for my wedding dress went viral, I had two thoughts: 1) at least it isn’t herpes; 2) ‘why not try crowd funding the divorce’. What’s the worse that can happen?! Even if I only get $1, it will still be less of a failure than my marriage,” she said in the campaign, before adding a list of costs.

Between the marriage certificate and divorce papers, Lauryn was looking for about $420.

Over the past three days, Lauryn has raised over $700 from people encouraging her to buy shots and nice lingerie.
