It was the idyllic day for a photoshoot to celebrate the love between two people but it almost ended in complete tragedy.
Becki Salmon and her fiancé, Matt Werner, were spending a few hours in Pennsylvania on a photoshoot where they were trying to capture the perfect engagement shot.
The romantic shoot took a nasty turn when Salmon noticed a young boy struggling in the water behind her – the brave woman ran to his aid and dove into the water to rescue him.
The photographer, Ken Beerger, captured the terrifying moments on camera.

"If I would have had my wedding dress on that day, that's what I would have been in the water in," Salmon, told WPVI.
Becki is in fact a trained lifeguard and a paramedic.

We’re glad that everyone’s safe!
