A fundraising page to bring the body of Kevin Moran, who tragically died in Australia in a road accident, as already received double its original expectations.
Kevin, of Mulranny Co. Mayo, died in a road traffic accident in New South Wales on Friday.
A gofundme page set up to raise funds to bring Kevin’s body home has raised over $31,ooo in just over eight hours, twice the required amount.
The page reads:
Kevin will be sadly missed by his fiancée Anne Marie Perry, his sister Emily and his Aunt Rose who all live in Brisbane and the wider Brisbane-Irish community that knew him.
Our deepest condolences go to Kevin’s family and friends in Ireland who are awaiting the return of their beloved son.
We would like to sincerely thank the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust who are assisting with arrangements to get Kevin home.
