Police in the Indian city of Kolkata have confirmed they have arrested a man in relation to the rape of an Irish charity worker in the city.
The 21-year-old filed a case on Saturday after she claimed she was drugged and raped after her birthday party by the man. The woman in question said she was assaulted in a semi-conscious state after drinking a cup of tea at the 25-year-old businessman’s house.
