Here at Her.ie Towers we’ve been looking for new ways to get our readers involved in the fun we get up to every day, so without further ado we’re announcing our March pick for the our Book Club, Between the Covers.
We’re kicking it all off this month with March’s recommended read, Donal Ryan’s Man Booker nominated novella, The Spinning Heart.
Published by Ryan in 2013, the novel set in recession-hit Ireland and a fractured community, is told through the eyes of 21 different voices and focuses around a local building firm.
Crooked boss Pokey Burke has fled the company and the country leaving his employees feeling betrayed, angry and ultimately broke.
In the coming weeks we’ll be sitting down to record our book club podcast, penning our reviews and your comments could be featured on these very pages.
We also have some great plans in store for upcoming competitions and events linked to our new club.
