If you’ve ever been cheated on, you’ll know how awful it is when you find out that your other half has been seeing someone else behind your back. But imagine how worse the entire situation would be if you discovered your man was a cheater via Google Maps?
Digital Spy reports that a woman in Russia discovered her fiancé was doing the dirty on her after she saw him with another woman on the Russian equivalent of Google Maps, Yandex.
Marina Voinova, from Perm, already had her suspicions that something wasn’t right so she decided to use Yandex Maps to search for an address.
When she switched to the Street View feature, she was shocked when she saw an image of her fiancé embracing another woman. Marina realised that the picture had been taken last summer when her other half broke his arm, as he was wearing a cast in the photo.
Marina had been with her partner, Alexander (known as 'Sasha'), for five years and, understandably, she hit the roof.
“When Sasha came home, I immediately called him to the computer and asked him to find that address in the map,” said Marina.
“When the image loaded, Sasha’s face changed in colour. I looked into his eyes, waiting for an explanation,” she added.

Yandex is like the Russian version of Google Maps
Apparently, seeing as how he was caught red-handed, Sasha confessed everything to Marina and told her that he had made a mistake and wasn’t in love with the other woman.
Despite his pleas, Marina decided to end the relationship.
“At first I regretted searching for that address on the internet, but eventually realised that it was silly to blame the web for my boyfriend’s unfaithfulness,” said Marina.
Unlike Google Maps, Yandex does not blur the faces of people on their street view function. This means that people can easily be identified.
We wonder how many other people have been caught getting up to things that they really shouldn’t have been doing?
