Chill Out Tuesday! How To Make The Most Of Midweek In Dublin

You've just got over that difficult Monday, following all the weekend fun, but next weekend is barely in sight at this stage and you need something to help you get towards that all-important Friday. Well, we think that Tuesday is the perfect night to relax, chill out with friends and get out of the house for a bit with the girls. What better way to split up the week than to take a trip to the theatre. There are various events around town but one of our picks is the wonderful West Side Story which is currently running at the Borg Gais Theatre. See the epic love story between Maria and Tony brought to life on stage! With tickets starting at about €17.50 and ranging up to €60, we thoroughly recommend this for a Tuesday night. If something a little more classical is to your liking, Ballet Ireland's Carmen is currently running at the Gaiety Theatre. Tickets begin at €25 and go to about €30.  'Carmen' follows the story of a young, naïve soldier Jose, who is bewitched by the beautiful and fiery gypsy, Carmen. If you are interested in comedy, Wicked Wolf Comedy Nights will look for the best new acts around and have some special guests. Tickets are just €5 for the event. There are, of course, various live music events around town. The Church will run trad session on Tuesday evening starting at about 7.30pm and Bluegrass in the International Bar from about 9pm.
