For Amercians, Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year. In fact, while you’re reading this, millions of our friends across the water will be out and about snapping up incredible bargains.

The Friday following Thanksgiving is when US companies put on their biggest sales of the year, and every year we feel just as sad that we’re not there to join in with the crowds.

Here’s where Cyber Monday comes in. Now used to refer to the Monday following Thanksgiving, it has become one of the most popular online shopping days of the year. The first Cyber Monday dates back to 2005, and in 2010, comScore reported that consumers spent a whopping $1.028 Billion online on the day.

Retailers worldwide are listening, and offering online customers some very special discounts for the day that’s in it.
