4. Take a boat tour The best way to see Amsterdam is on the water. There are loads of boat tours available but we recommend taking a cruise with a smaller company like Those Dam Boat Guys to make sure you have the best trip and the best craic.
5. Stuff your face Lord have mercy! If you thought that the curry-chip from your local takeaway was good then prepared to be blown away by Amsterdam's unbelievable frites. 7. Cycle through Vondel Park You can't go to Amsterdam without riding a bicycle and one of the best (and safest) places to do it is in Vondel Park. It's the main park in the city and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.
