“Clamp? What Clamp?” Irish Man Pulls A Homer Simpson & Drives Off With This Stuck To His Wheel…

Well... this is one way to stick it to the clampers. A Dublin motorist has become an internet hit after he drove off with a clamp stuck to the wheel of his car.

The incident was witness on the main street of Ranelagh last week and, thankfully, someone was there to catch it all on camera. The footage shows the motorist attempting to drive off with the clamp stuck to his wheel, while Dublin City Council clampers follow him.

We have no idea what kind of penalties the driver will face for clearly ignoring the clamp or the extent of the damage he caused to his BMW while trying to move the car.

Either way, it made us laugh and it seems as though we’re not the only ones – 50,000 people have already watched (and giggled) at the motorist’s attempt to escape the clampers.
