Coppers nightclub pulled in a shocking amount of money this year

I can honestly say I wasn’t there once

It’s highly highly unlikely that you’ve set foot in Dublin for longer than 48 hours and not been dragged kicking and screaming to Coppers.

It’s a rite of passage for all Irish students, particularly those with a penchant for nurses and guards.

It’s been years since yours truly has crossed that threshold, but as a once frequent patron, I’m delighted to see it’s still positively booming.

New accounts for the company show that the venue reached pre-tax profits of €5 million or €97,657 per week.

The club is owned by former Garda Cathal Jackson and Paula Jackson and is housed in the Jackson Court Hotel on Dublin’s Harcourt Street.

According to The Independent, the salary for the Jacksons is not disclosed for last year or the previous year. In 2014 they paid themselves over €10,000 per week when they shared €611,786 in pay.
