A hotel in Co Cork has been listed as one of the world’s best hotels this week.
According to Condé Nast Traveller magazine, Ballymaloe House based in Shanagarry is one of the publication’s travel favourites and was the only hotel in Irish to claim a place on the Gold List 20154.
The hotel is given rave reviews in the magazine and its organic farm and local cookery school is described as “an experience no foodie should miss.”
“We’re delighted with it,” said Hazel Allen. “And to be the only hotel in Ireland on the list is just fantastic.
“It’s been a terrific year and this is definitely a great start to 2015.”
