Were you watching last night?
Coronation Street viewers are up in arms after the song Bye Bye Baby, by the Bay City Rollers, was played in the same episode where Michelle Connor was rushed to hospital after going into early labour at 23 weeks.
Michelle’s had stomach pains during a joint baby shower held for her and Leanne Tillsley and as anyone who watched the show is aware, she was immediately taken to hospital.
Having this song played while such distressing scenes unfolded outraged many of those watching particularly as many viewers know that the next Corrie installment, to be aired on Wednesday, sees Michelle suffer a miscarriage.
Here’s what viewers had to say:
Playing Bye Bye Baby@ start of episode where Michelle is losing her baby @ITVCorrie..whose bright idea was that ? #thoughtless
