Couple Celebrate Engagement By Recreating Famous Scenes From The Notebook

It seems that couples continue to outdo each other with engagement announcement and celebrations and this particular celebration is probably raising that bar a little higher. Cindy Gauthier, 31, and Jean-Nicola Barile decided to celebrate their engagement by recreating some of the most romantic (and photogenic) scenes from The Notebook.

"At first I wasn't comfortable with having regular engagement photographs, so our photographer introduced the idea of a theme," she told the Daily Mail. "We talked about the shoot for a while and decided on The Notebook - it's a film that we both love."
