The artist chosen will receive a €10,000 design bursary for the construction of the new installation at Body & Soul, plus weekend tickets to Body & Soul for them AND their team!
They'll be looking for the area to use space creatively (the theme being: Creative Use of Space) and become a focal point, both day and night, for photos, talks and discussions among festival-goers.
The whole idea is to have everyone's eyes drawn to the design, have them intrigued by the architecturally captivating 360 degree piece, take cues from the brand’s history and heritage, plus encapsulate the MINI brand while blending harmoniously with Body & Soul's 2019 theme - 'Ritual.'
So if you think you have the talent to design an architecturally inspiring piece, find out more HERE and you can enter by registering HERE. (Submissions close by April 14, 23:59.)
Submissions will be assessed by representatives from MINI, Body & Soul's Head of Design Mary Pike, and Nathalie Weadick, Director of the Irish Architecture Foundation. Simply outline what you have in mind and be sure to form a variety of approaches and demonstrate how you've considered the look and use of the space.
The winning applicant will have support and expertise from Body & Soul's Head of Design. They will liaise directly with you to ensure the most professional, and gorgeous execution of the winning submission.
Go on, give it a go you talented bunch!
Brought to you by MINI Ireland.
