The Brexit vote ensures that today will go down as one of the most important days in history.
The EU referendum vote in Britain yesterday has concurred in a Leave vote, with the nation agreeing by 52% to leave the European Union.
The decision has already had disastrous consequences for both the English and us, their Irish neighbours.
People have not held back in their worried outcry for Britain’s future without membership of the EU.
People have not held back condemning Vote Leave and UKIP leader Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson for their contributions to the campaign which now leaves Britain and the other countries of Europe suffering greatly.
“Older generation have voted for a future that the younger generation do not want” is the scariest and saddest way to phrase this #EUref

Also we’ve now learned that ASSASSINATING A WOMAN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT does not have a negative effect on a political campaign #Brexit

.@Nigel_Farage says he can’t guarantee an extra £350m a week will go to the NHS. That promise was a “mistake” @GMB pic.twitter.com/RQGRn23tgG

One person who has given a sad, thoughtful contribution on the Brexit debacle is wildlife broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.
According to The Guardian, the commentator, and overall gentleman was declining to pass comment on the important referendum as to not sway voters in the run-up to the vote.
Upon hearing of the Brexit results, the 90-year-old commented in a typically poetic way:
“That is sad. Swallows aren’t members of the union, and migrant birds and so on.”
Swallows are birds that return to the same place everywhere so we’re taking from this quote that David is saddened to hear that the new version of Britain will be cracking down on migration and refugees.
