Dear Father Ted fans, Ireland’s two most popular festivals are back and you can book tickets now

Not to be missed.

Her

Calling all Father Ted fans.

Any self-respecting Father Ted fan will know exactly why July 19th is such a special day.

The day that Ted, Dougal and Jack decided to go on their annual holiday to Father O’Rourke’s caravan.

Truth be told, we would absolutely love to see St Kevin’s Stump or The Magic Road on our summer break, but it’s likely that Father Noel Furlong and the St Luke’s Youth Group are still using it.

They really do love that Riverdance album.

We’re not disappointed though because TedFest and the Craggy Island Festival will be returning this year from Feb 23-26 and May 12-14th respectively.

The news gets even better because Father “I don’t want any stupid tea” Damo (Joe Rooney) and Eoin “I’ve no willy” McLove (Patrick McDonnell) will also be performing live stand-up comedy at the Craggy Island Festival.

If you need another reason to go then this will blow your mind. There’s going to be a Riverdance competition in the caravan, Tom And Mary’s Shop will also be there and the greatest theme park in the world, Funland, will also make an appearance.

Before you ask, the answer is yes. Brave souls can venture into ‘The Pond of Terror’.

Father Ted fans can also participate in the Sports Day, The Lovely Girls Competition, a Dancing Priest competition and Eurovision contest.

If you don’t happen to get a ticket to this Father Ted festival, then TedFest is also an excellent choice.
