Design Fever: Looking Back on Last Night’s Episode of The Design Doctors

We're taking a look back on last night's episode in Donnybrook.

Rebecca McKnight

Were you inspired by last night’s Design Doctors episode? You’ve got a dose of design fever we think!

We saw the Design Doctors use warm neutrals to help bring balance and modernity to this beautiful Donnybrook home.

A mid neutral called Bleached Lichen 2 was used as the perfect backdrop to this teal, orange and brown scheme. Available from Dulux Colour mixing in Easycare Diamond Matt.

Khaki Mists 5 was used as the perfect complement to this neutral kitchen. Available in Dulux Easycare Diamond Matt.

Mid neutral Bleached Lichen 2 is not too dark or too light for this well lit sunroom.

This warm neutral has a slight hint of green which is perfect for the type of natural light we get in our homes. Colour used is 40YY 38107 from Dulux Colour mixing.

Taking that inspiration here are some warm neutral colour schemes from Dulux.

Balance Bleached Lichen (feature wall) with Perfectly Neutral both from the Dulux Vinyl Matt range.

Warm Sands is a strong neutral that is perfect for irish lighting. From the Dulux Vinyl Matt range.

Delicate Willow and Warm Parchment are the perfect combination. Delicate Willow is a greyed off green that looks beautiful in classic settings whilst Warm Parchment is an excellent neutral that can be combined with any green. Both from the Dulux Easycare range.

Taking inspiration from the Teal couch featured in last nights show, why not use that teal on your wall, here we feature Jewelled Creek 3 from the Dulux Colour Mixing range.
