While it might not happen all the time, there are days when your socks just get filthy. Especially when the weather is like this, rain splashes up and socks get muddy - you just can't help it.
You might want to throw them straight in the bin - and believe me, we've all been there - but you also don't want to waste money buying socks every other month.
If your lovely white socks look a little worse for wear then we've found a hack that will get them back sparkling white.
One mum, Manda Goody, commented on Mrs Hinch cleaning tips' Facebook page about how her 19-year-old daughter came back from a festival and gave her Tommy Hilfiger socks to wash.
The socks were manky, but Manda had a little tip for making them brand spankin' new again.
She wrote: "Before/after my 19 year old daughters brand new Tommy Hilfiger socks on her return from a festival thanks to you lovely lot, a soak in a dishwasher tablet, then rinsed and a soak in vanish."
It really works! Just take a look at the pictures above.
Think we will all be trying this next time!
