DJ Eoghan McDermott is offering a student his spare room for free

Eoghan McDermott is offering his and girlfriend Aoife's spare room to a student who might be struggling to find accommodation in Dublin. The 2fm presenter took to Instagram to say that a student was welcome to the spare room for free for one week while they are looking for a place to stay full-time. He said:

"If you're moving to Dublin from the country first time it can be daunting. Hopefully this will help someone line up lots of viewings and get sorted."

Very sound, indeed. Eoghan's offer comes after news that there are now fewer houses to rent in Dublin, and that students are being offered accommodation with horrible living conditions.
