You get out of the shower dripping wet and the first thought is to grab the nearest towel and wipe your face - BAD IDEA.
Celebrity facialist Joanna Vargas says using a towel that has been in the bathroom for a couple of days on your face is a surefire way to spread bacteria.
Speaking to
The Gloss, she said: “Instead of drying your face with your bath towel, use a paper towel instead".
“If you are breaking out and use the same towel on your face for a few days, it will spread the bacteria, making the breakout even worse! A paper towel can be thrown away after use, so it helps to keep your complexion clean and clear".
So if you're constantly breaking out and you have no idea why, it might be time to think about investing in some paper towels/ clean facecloths.
