Dylan McKenna might only be three years old, but he’s already a life-saver. The tot saved his father’s life after he recognised his dad had taken ill.
Dylan’s father experienced a stroke at just 29-years old, and Dylan knew the signs to go and ask for help.
Dylan was awarded the act fast award in 2014, and now the Irish Heart Foundation are asking you to act FAST to recognise the signs of stroke:
F – Face – has their face fallen on one side? Can they smile?
A – Arms – Can they raise both arms and keep them there?
S – Speech – is their speech slurred?
T –Time to call 999 if you spot any single one of these signs.
