It's far from black and white. There's subcategories that include white, off white, light, bright, dark but not fully black, black, hand wash, etc. I cannot cope.
On top of all that garbage, you've to check the labels to see if there's any further instructions regarding how warm the water is and if you can iron things. They're usually presented in a weird range of hieroglyphics and nobody truly knows what they mean.
