According to the Huffington Post those who get aggravated by others chewing and slurping may have a condition called misophonia – in others words, a heightened sensitivity to certain sounds.
It seems 20 per cent of people have it and those who do tend to be more creative.
Experts at Northwestern University discovered the link and we think it’s fantastic… purely because the sound of people slurping makes us want to punch someone in the face.
